New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art has mounted an exhibition of modern and contemporary artworks by three generations of world-renowned Iranian artists.
Contemporary Iranian Art from the Permanent Collection showcases seven works by Parviz Tanavoli, Monir Shahroudi Farmanfarmaian, Y.Z. Kami, Shirin Neshat, Afrouz Amiqi and Ali Banisadr, four of whom live and work abroad, ILNA reported on Monday.

Archaeologists resume search for Laodicea Temple

A team of Iranian archaeologists has recently returned to an area within the town of Nahavand, western Iran, to search for traces of the Laodicea Temple.
