Iran’s Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi says the Islamic Republic is establishing a new satellite launch base to put super-heavy satellites into orbit. Modon’s has signed new contracts, worth SR700 million, to build electricity transmission plants and aerial and ground power supply lines for five industrial cities.
Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, minister of commerce and industry and chairman of Modon’s board of directors, signed the contracts in the presence of Saleh Al-Rasheed, director-general of Modon, and executives from Modon and the executing companies.
